| Family Days - All States | |
| Family days are an extremely important event
on the ozED calendar. The family days offer people from within
each state to get together, meet and draw comfort and support by
developing person friendships, sharing stories and learning that you are
not alone.
Family days are organised by the local State Representative to ensure that all local needs are met (as far as practicable). Family days have offered an opportunity for some of our members to meet other ED affected people for the first time in their life. For an adult this is a fairly emotional and confronting time, (but also one of the most rewarding). ozED has an open policy with the family days. We encourage our state representatives to "go for it". We want the ED families (ozED members and non-members), professionals and the community to enjoy the support and comfort that these days bring.
