We do sell books from the US group as we understand there is no need to re-invent the wheel.  This publication will enable our group to make a substantial difference to these kids affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia, their brothers and sisters, their friends and their families. 

This will also allow us to develop other strategies through the income stream that this will produce for our organisation.  This will also assist in ensuring the International Recognition in our group within this area, which may also assist in our involvement in research throughout the world.

The cost of the publishing the book is $7,500.00

The advantage to any proposed sponsors is that ozED would offer to any sponsor a chance for advertising on the back cover of the book.  This book has a potential for distribution throughout Australia with the possibility of distribution  in the Europe, North America and the Asia/Pacific area.

This package was well received by the group and it was decided to prepare this package up and roll it out to all members to allow members to present ED to their local community.  It was a common practice that parents with children with ED largely educate their local community.

This package will provide our volunteer members with the tools to go out and proactively promote ED and ozED within their communities.

The cost of this project will initially require equipment (1x Binding Machine to prepare information packs, Binding Combs and Covers, Clear overhead project slides and a presenters manual.  The full estimated cost of this project is $650.00.

This project will allow our presenters to receive donations from their communities through increased awareness of ED.  It will also assist in increased facilities being available for people affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia, possible earlier diagnosis and a reduce stigma affect for affected people and their families.

The cost of the pamphlet would be as follows, Art Work - $250.00, Printing (Estimated) $1,000.00 being a total of $1,250.00
