ozED is a new group, having been formed in April 2004 to provide information and support for people and families affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia and to provide information and education for professionals that work with people and families affected by Ectodermal Dysplasia. As a new group we have achieved a great deal more in our first twelve months than we could ever have imagined. We are a fully endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient Organisation and Income Tax Exempt Organisation with the Australian Taxation Office. (A.B.N. 69 465 348 364) We held a very successful first National Conference in May 2005. We had participants from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. ozED has a committee of management that has qualifications in financial, health, education, public management and social fields. We have representatives from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. We have an active relationship with our counterparts in United States of America, United kingdom, The Netherlands, Spain and Canada. We are also working at developing greater relationships with Germany, France, Italy, Sweden. Our committee of management members also currently serve on a number of other community boards and projects ranging from Native Wildlife Rescue through to local Kindergarten and School Groups. Our President is on the Committee of Management of the Genetic Support Network of Victoria and the Vice President is currently on the organisation committee of the MAD Foundation (ozED sponsor) annual ball. At ozED we fully understand that sponsorship and grant money only can stretch so far. This page is about our members, our supporters and members of corporate Australia being able to see what we do and were we are heading. We are a young group and that is what makes our achievements that so much greater. We are accountable, we are transparent in what we do and most importantly we are progressive. We invite you to assist us in achieving these goals. To find out what sponsorship packages are available please go to our project benefits page. |
